Handleless Matt Kitchens Supplied in Wilmslow

Wilmslow homes tend to be spacious and well-thought-out — which is why Handleless Matt kitchens for Wilmslow homes are an ideal match. Large detached properties and executive new builds demand something that looks sleek but doesn’t scream for attention, and that’s exactly what you get here. The smooth matt doors in styles like Remo Matt or Lucente Matt offer clean surfaces without the clutter of handles protruding or catching on designer clothes. For families who entertain, or those who prefer open-plan spaces connecting kitchen, dining, and living areas, handleless kitchens keep sightlines open and the vibe modern without sacrificing warmth or personality. Plus, in posh postcodes like Alderley Edge, Handforth, or Knutsford, you want a kitchen that’s as refined as your surroundings but built to last and perform. The minimalist look fits in perfectly with Wilmslow’s mix of period charm and contemporary lifestyle.

Don’t be fooled by the sleek simplicity of handleless matt kitchens — there’s serious quality under the surface. At SJB Trade Kitchens, all our cabinets are rigid-built from 18mm Egger board, using cam and dowel construction for durability you don’t get from flat-pack nonsense. The hardware? Blum soft-close fitted as standard, so drawers and doors shut quietly and smoothly every time, no matter how manic breakfast gets in Styal or Prestbury. The matt finish itself is hard-wearing, easy to clean, and far less prone to fingerprints than glossy alternatives — perfect for busy Wilmslow households who want their kitchen to look sharp without constant upkeep. There are no compromises here. This slick handleless look is matched by robust build quality, making sure your kitchen keeps looking this good years down the line.

Here’s the thing: we do things a bit differently. Our supply-only model means you get the kitchen goods – door styles, cabinets, hardware – straight from us, but you hire your own fitter to install them. It’s the smartest way to save serious money in Wilmslow without cutting corners on quality. No middlemen, no inflated prices; you only pay for what you need. Because we’re local to Wilmslow (based in Oldham), we understand the area and can recommend fitters if you want, but the choice is yours. We also offer a free design service to make sure everything’s laid out how you want before you buy, so there’s no guesswork or costly mistakes. And if you live in Alderley Edge, Handforth, or even beyond, we still deliver nationwide – but being nearby means faster service and personal support when you need it. This model suits Wilmslow homeowners who want control over their project and a kitchen that fits their lifestyle, not a one-size-fits-all package.

Still not sure if a Handleless Matt kitchen is the right fit for your Wilmslow home? Nothing beats seeing and feeling the quality for yourself – so why not pop into our Lees showroom, just a short drive from Wilmslow? You’ll get to run your fingers over the smooth matt finishes, check out the cabinet build quality in person, and have a proper chinwag about your project. We don’t do hard sells, just straight answers and honest advice. If you’re tackling the install yourself or using a local fitter, seeing the materials up close before you commit can make all the difference. And if you can’t make it in, we’ve got nationwide delivery, but being local means we can sort out your kitchen with a bit less faff and a lot more personal touch. Give us a shout anytime to get in touch or book a visit.

Are Handleless Matt kitchens suitable for period properties in Wilmslow?

Absolutely. While period properties have traditional charm, many owners in Wilmslow prefer to blend old and new by installing sleek, handleless kitchens inside. The matt finish provides a subtle, understated look that complements period features without clashing. It’s a modern touch that sits well alongside classic cornices or fireplaces.

What makes your cabinets different from typical flat-pack kitchens?

Our cabinets are rigid-built from thick 18mm Egger board using cam and dowel joints for strength and durability, unlike flimsy flat packs. Plus, every drawer and door comes with Blum soft-close hardware, so they work smoothly for years. You can read more about our cabinets if you want the full lowdown.

Can I use my own fitter with your kitchens?

Yep. We operate a supply-only model, meaning you get the kitchen materials from us but hire your own fitter to install. It keeps costs down and gives you flexibility. We’re local to Wilmslow, so if you need fitter recommendations for the Cheshire area like Alderley Edge or Prestbury, we can help.

Do you offer help with kitchen design?

We provide a free design service to make sure your handleless kitchen layout suits your Wilmslow home perfectly. Whether you live in a new build in Handforth or a gated development near Knutsford, we’ll help plan the space so it looks great and works well before you buy.

Fantastic experience with Steve from start to finish. He designed an amazing kitchen in a small space and truly went above and beyond what I expected. He took the time to listen carefully to my ideas and requirements, and was never pushy throughout the process. His knowledge, creativity, and attention to detail really stood out at every stage. Everything was planned and executed with care, and he made sure even the smallest details were perfect. The end result is a beautifully designed, highly functional kitchen that I’m absolutely thrilled with. I couldn’t recommend him highly enough ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

After visiting a few "big brand" kitchen places & being absolutely gob smacked at the prices, the pushy salesmen & the amazing "discounts" they claimed were on for "1 week only".... I went searching for a small local business. I found SJB on eBay initially & then popped along to his Instagram account to have a nosey at his products etc. I dropped him a message & got a reply pretty much straight away. I sent our measurements, needs & ideas & Steve got to work & brought our design to life! He worked fast & was extremely helpful. He made changes if we wanted them, he went hunting for a particular handle I wanted (a lot cheaper too as 1 company wanted £12 a handle, Steve found them for just £4) We visited his show room to make sure because we weren't being charged the earth, we weren't getting a cheap / flimsy product. Well we absolutely weren't! We had a slight issue with one of the cabinets being damaged upon arrival, spoke to Steve, who immediately ordered a replacement to be sent. Steve was contactable throughout, nothing was too much trouble, & he's just a genuine nice guy, who runs a fantastic small business. 100% recommend using SJB Trade Kitchens especially over the giant money grabbing companies!

Steve is absolutely epic! Really nice guy. 100% genuine & to be trusted. Really easy to work with. Couldn't do enough and always on hand.
The kitchen was amazing quality and the kitchen looked exactly like the images he produced on his computer. The units came ready built which saved a lot of time! Even if you're not a joiner it was really easy to assemble and fit. The kitchen is great quality and a VERY competitive price! 100% recommended! Thank you so much!

I cannot stress how happy I am with my kitchen from SJB. We didn’t had a great experience with our builder during the renovation of our house however the final kitchen made up for it. SJB offered high quality finishes at quick turnarounds and even made a custom made island which is better than I ever expected. I will be returning soon to SJB for my bedroom wardrobes!

I came across SJB on Ebay, and contacted Steve. He was very helpful in inviting us to his kitchen showroom to look at the various kitchens. This helped a lot as he was on site to talk us through ideas and suggestions. We chose, what we thought, a relatively priced kitchen as it was for a rental property, but the finished result has been just amazing! It looks so expensive, even the fitter said it was very good quality for a fraction of what other places charge. Steve kindly designed the kitchen, gave us good ideas and was always available on the phone if we ever needed advice. I have never purchased a kitchen without the company providing a fitter as I have always doubted if the kitchen would fit how it should, but this has completely changed my perception. It has been flawless and friends and family have compared it to their much more expensive ones, saying this looks amazing and better than theirs! If you need a kitchen, with a gentleman that goes over and above, SJB is the place to go. You will not be disappointed, the whole process has been stress free thanks to Steve, I honestly cannot thank him enough for all his efforts and kindness.
We hope to come back very soon!

I've worked in the building trade for over 20 years, the kitchen supplied by Steven was a better quality then a Howdens or magnet kitchen and also a good bit cheaper.

Steven's easy to deal with, everything arrived as quoted no problems no damaged items and on the exact day specified.

Would highly recommend.

I first came across Steve on Ebay last year when I moved into my bungalow and kept hold of his details.
Fast forward a year, I checked Google reviews and finally contacted him sending measurements/photos and went to meet him when on holiday nearby.
Steve was so helpful and came up with the exact kitchen plan I had in my head, two other companies couldn't do this, despite visiting my home and meeting with them.
Took me a while to find a joiner and after lots of emails, Whatsapp messages and calls, I could actually place the order.
All delivered to North East Scotland, a few doors followed on as were out of stock, a couple of damaged items replaced and when I needed a corner post and dishwasher door replacement due to longer screws being used in error, Steve was only too happy to send them.
It's a very good quality kitchen at a great price and I'm not planning on needing another, but if I did, I wouldn't hesitate on contacting SJB again.
We got there in the end Steve, with hard work from my plasterer, joiner, plumber, electrician and flooring guys and I love my new kitchen, so thank you, hard to believe it's the same room ❤️
