London’s property landscape is extraordinarily varied. From the Georgian townhouses of Islington and Bloomsbury to the Victorian terraces of Hackney and Clapham, from the 1930s semis of Ealing and Bromley to the sleek new-build apartments rising across Canary Wharf, Nine Elms, and Stratford — kitchens in London must work harder than anywhere else in the country, making the most of every square inch of space.
SJB Trade Kitchens supplies rigid kitchen units direct to homeowners and tradespeople across London. Despite being based in Oldham, Greater Manchester, we deliver to London regularly — our logistics are set up for nationwide delivery, and London is one of our busiest areas. The capital’s high property prices mean homeowners are increasingly choosing to renovate rather than move, and a well-specified kitchen with rigid units, Blum hardware, and quality doors can add significant value to any London property.
We supply rigid-built kitchen cabinets made to your exact measurements, with over 100 door styles to choose from. Every order comes with a free design service, a detailed quote within 24 hours, and delivery in as little as 10 working days. For more detail on our cabinet construction, see our trade kitchen cabinet manufacturer page. You can also browse our full rigid kitchen units hub page for more information.

Every kitchen we supply is built around rigid-construction carcasses, made from 18mm Egger or Kronospan board with cam and dowel assembly. These are fully assembled cabinets — not flat-pack. They arrive ready to install, which makes the fitter’s job faster and easier, and means there’s no risk of a cabinet being assembled incorrectly on site.
One of the things that sets us apart from the big-box retailers is our 18mm backs — not hardboard. Most budget kitchen suppliers use thin hardboard backs to cut costs. Every cabinet we supply has a solid 18mm back, giving the carcass genuine structural rigidity and a far longer lifespan.
All cabinets come fitted with Blum soft-close hinges and Blum Antaro drawer systems as standard. Blum is the gold standard in kitchen hardware — their hinges and drawers carry a lifetime guarantee. This isn’t an upgrade or an optional extra. It comes as standard on every cabinet we supply. If you want to go further, we also offer dovetail solid oak drawer boxes as a premium upgrade.
Doors are available in over 100 styles — gloss, matt, shaker, handleless, painted and more — all made to your exact measurements. If your kitchen has an awkward alcove, a sloping ceiling, or a non-standard dimension, we can accommodate it. Every cabinet is made to the millimetre, not to the nearest standard size.

Our showroom is in Oldham, Greater Manchester — Unit N, Central Trading Estate, Coulton Close, OL1 4EB — but we supply customers right across the UK, including London and the surrounding areas of all London boroughs including Islington, Hackney, Camden, Wandsworth, Greenwich, Richmond, Ealing, and Bromley. London is approximately 4 hours from our Oldham showroom via the M1, and we deliver to Greater London regularly.
Everything is carefully packaged and delivered directly to your door. The geography doesn’t matter — you get the same personal service, the same quality product, and the same 10-day lead time wherever you are in the country. Steve and the team work with our manufacturer to keep prices 30–50% below what you’d pay at Howdens — with no trade account required.
How long does delivery take to London from Oldham?
We deliver to London in as little as 10 working days from order confirmation. Everything is carefully packaged and delivered direct to your door. London is one of our most popular delivery areas, so our logistics are well established for the route.
Are rigid kitchen units suitable for compact London kitchens?
They are ideal. Many London properties — especially Victorian terraces and period conversions — have small or awkwardly shaped kitchens. Because every unit is made to order, we can build cabinets to non-standard widths and heights, making full use of every available centimetre in a galley kitchen, basement conversion, or side-return extension.
Do you supply rigid units for London property developers?
Yes. We work with developers and landlords across London who need consistent quality at competitive prices. Our made-to-order approach means we can supply identical specifications across multiple units in a development, with a reliable 10 working day lead time.
Can I get a kitchen quote without visiting your Oldham showroom?
Of course. Most of our London customers never visit the showroom. Simply send us your measurements and preferences by email or through our online form, and we will provide a full design and quote within 24 hours. We can send door samples by post so you can see and feel the finish before committing.
What kitchen styles suit London period properties?
For Georgian and Victorian properties in areas like Islington, Hackney, and Battersea, shaker painted doors in heritage colours are extremely popular. For modern apartments and loft conversions, handleless matt or slab gloss finishes create a clean, contemporary look. We offer over 100 door styles to suit any London property.
