What's Included in a Supply-Only Kitchen from SJ Ball?
Every kitchen we supply is built around rigid-construction carcasses, made from 18mm Egger or Kronospan board with cam and dowel assembly. These are factory-built, fully assembled cabinets — not flat-pack. They arrive ready to install, which makes the fitter’s job faster and easier, and means there’s no risk of a cabinet being assembled incorrectly on site.
One of the things that sets us apart from the big-box retailers is our 18mm backs — not hardboard. Most budget kitchen suppliers use thin hardboard backs to cut costs. Every cabinet we supply has a solid 18mm back, giving the carcass genuine structural rigidity and a far longer lifespan.
All cabinets come fitted with Blum soft-close hinges and Blum Antaro drawer systems as standard. Blum is the gold standard in kitchen hardware — their hinges and drawers carry a lifetime guarantee. This isn’t an upgrade or an optional extra. It comes as standard on every cabinet we supply. If you want to go further, we also offer dovetail solid oak drawer boxes as a premium upgrade.
Doors are available in over 100 styles — gloss, matt, shaker, handleless, painted and more — all made to your exact measurements. If your kitchen has an awkward alcove, a sloping ceiling, or a non-standard dimension, we can accommodate it. Every cabinet is made to the millimetre, not to the nearest standard size. Our made-to-measure cabinets are a significant step up from the flat-pack units typically installed by developers.
Delivery to Buckshaw Village takes around 10 working days from order confirmation. Everything arrives fully assembled, wrapped, and labelled so your fitter can start immediately.
How Far Is Your Showroom from Chorley?
Our showroom is in Oldham (Unit N, Central Trading Estate, Coulton Close, OL1 4EB), which is around 30 minutes from Chorley via the M61 and M62. You’re welcome to visit and see door samples, Blum Antaro drawer boxes, and worktop finishes in person.
Book ahead so Steve can prepare samples in your preferred style. If you’d rather not make the trip, we can post door samples to your Chorley address and handle everything by phone and email.
Can You Supply Kitchens for Older Properties in Chorley?
