Steve, our founder from Altrincham, works with our manufacturer to produce rigid-built carcasses in custom heights, depths and widths at no extra charge. Whether your kitchen has an awkward alcove, a sloping ceiling, pipework boxing, or an unusual layout created by an extension — we build around it. Standard kitchens force your room to fit the units. What's Included in Every Bespoke Kitchen Unit?
Every bespoke kitchen unit we supply is built around a rigid-construction carcass, made from 18mm Egger or Kronospan board with cam and dowel assembly. These are fully assembled cabinets — not flat-pack. They arrive ready to install, which makes the fitter’s job faster and easier, and means there’s no risk of a cabinet being assembled incorrectly on site.
What sets our bespoke cabinets apart from the big-box retailers is the combination of custom sizing and premium construction. Every carcass has a solid 18mm back — not hardboard. Most budget kitchen suppliers use thin hardboard backs to cut costs. Our 18mm backs give the carcass genuine structural rigidity and a far longer lifespan, which matters even more when you are building to non-standard dimensions.
All cabinets come fitted with Blum soft-close hinges and Blum Antaro drawer systems as standard. Blum is the gold standard in kitchen hardware — their hinges and drawers carry a lifetime guarantee. This is not an upgrade or an optional extra. It comes as standard on every cabinet we supply. For those who want the ultimate finish, we also offer dovetail solid oak drawer boxes as a premium upgrade.
You can choose from over 300 MFC carcass finishes and over 100 door styles — gloss, matt, shaker, handleless, painted and more. Custom heights, depths and widths are all available at no extra charge. If your kitchen has an unusual layout, we will build to it.
